Need to insure your parcel

Whereby every precaution is taken to safeguard the carriage of goods, My Courier / Mercury Couriers and its agents will not be held responsible for the theft, loss, damage or delay sustained or suffered by the client.

Customers do however have the following limited liability cover options available:

Additional R20,00 per waybill for up to R2000,00 cover
Additional R50,00 per waybill for up to R5000,00 cover
No insurance

Should a customer choose and pay for either of the options they can follow the claims process by emailing the replacement value invoice along with our claims form to erin@mycouriersa.co.za. It is imperative that customers package goods accordingly. My Courier / Mercury Couriers will not entertain claims where it is found that packaging is inadequate.
In cases of damage My Courier / Mercury Couriers have the right to keep goods.

Below items are excluded from the limited liability cover:

1. Artwork or Sculptures
2. Glass items
3. Liquids
4. Cash
5. Livestock
6. Hazardous or Dangerous Goods
7. Perfume
8. Food (unless prior agreement is made in writing with the appropriate packaging)

All goods carried will be affected entirely and solely at the client’s own risk if they decline insurance. Clients who decline insurance are therefore advised to obtain their own insurance cover for goods which they deem necessitate insurance.
